Whether youre looking for a
class field trip to explore museum exhibits or
seeking a S.T.E.A.M. workshop for your students,
youll find it at the Miniature World of Trains.
We offer many types of programs for preschool
through sixth grade groups. All activities and
curriculum are customized to your students learning
goals in the classroom. All of our school visit
programs are rooted in Preschool Learning
Foundations, The South Carolina State Standards for
History-Social Science and Next Generation
Standards. No matter which type of school visit you
choose, they all provide students with exploratory,
engaging, and fun S.T.E.A.M., social science, and
language arts learning experience.

For
safety reasons, children must be accompanied by
adults at all times. To ensure the safety and
comfort of all visitors, MWOT
requires all groups to maintain a minimum
supervisory ratio at all times. One adult for every
five children, preschool through second grade, one
adult for every group eight children for third
through fifth grade, and one adult to 10 children
for all other grade levels. We reserve the right to
turn away visitors who do not comply with this 1:5
and 1:8 and 1:10 adult-to-child ratio.
